Video and Animation

Central to my practice, providing a space to explore ideas that extend beyond the static image. Through moving image, I investigate the repetitive rituals of domestic labour, the choreography of everyday tasks, and the humour and absurdity found within familiar routines.

Drawing on photography, digital manipulation, sound and animation, my films transform ordinary household objects and actions into playful yet unsettling narratives. More recent works use the moving image to examine the ageing body, exploring themes of visibility, beauty, vulnerability and the pressures placed on women to resist the passing of time. Together, these works form an ongoing enquiry into domesticity, materiality and the lived experience of ageing, where humour becomes a means of questioning cultural expectations and revealing the extraordinary within the everyday.
