Chopping  Board Series

"The Chopping Board Series." In this series, I utilise a chopping board as a background texture, applying ink directly onto it and then taking a print. I further embellish these prints with other household objects, such as sponges, which I also apply ink to. Sometimes, I work with wet-on-wet techniques, relishing the interplay of colours blending together, while at other times, I allow the prints to dry naturally. I then use palette knives and other tools to add additional marks and textures onto the prints. I often work on two prints simultaneously, allowing for a fluid and dynamic creative process.
